THE REVENUE AI BRIEF

Welcome to The Revenue AI Brief. One AI revenue play, every day, no filler. Here is today’s.

TODAY’S PLAY

The play: put a floor under every campaign's lead count and let an agent refill it

Right now one of your campaigns is emailing twelve people. It launched with two thousand leads, they ran out, and nobody noticed. Nothing alerts you because nothing failed, and a shrinking list even flatters your open rate for a few weeks.

We set a minimum number of active leads per campaign and treat it as a floor. When the count drops below the line, an agent finds new prospects, matches them against the audience already in the campaign, and feeds them into the sequence. I ran Instantly's new Lead Agent inside live client workflows this month, and the useful part is that it reads the existing leads instead of handing you a blank filter form.

THIS WEEK

How to run it this week

  1. Open every active campaign and write down the live lead count. The one that shocks you is the play.

  2. Set the floor at a number your sending infrastructure can genuinely serve for a week. The biggest number the interface accepts is almost always the wrong one.

  3. Choose the empty-search behaviour per campaign: auto-broaden on wide-net plays, pause and tell me on anything targeting named accounts.

THE THINKING

Why it works

Campaigns used to be a fixed batch of names moving through a sequence until the batch ran out. With a floor and an agent watching it, a campaign becomes a running system with a supply line attached, so you think in throughput the way the rest of your revenue machine already does. The human work moves upstream to the audience and the offer, which is where it was always worth spending.. Full breakdown on the blog

See you tomorrow with the next play.
