Welcome to The Revenue AI Brief. One AI revenue play, every day, no filler. Here is today’s.
The play: replace your research-to-outbound chain with one agent prompt
Most B2B teams run the same relay race: a data tool finds companies, an enrichment layer finds emails, an analyst researches each account, a copywriter fixes the first line, a sequencer sends. Five handoffs, five subscriptions, and the output still reads like a template.
We collapsed that chain into a single prompt to an agentic AI (we use Perplexity Computer): find companies matching our ICP with a live buying trigger, identify the decision-makers, return verified emails, and draft a 1:1 sequence grounded in what you actually found about each person.
How to run it this week
Write your ICP as one paragraph a stranger could act on: industry, size, the trigger that makes them buy now.
Give the agent that paragraph and ask for 10 accounts with a named trigger, the decision-maker, a verified email, and a 3-line opener referencing the trigger.
Keep a human on QA. Spot-check every claim before anything ships. One hallucinated funding round costs you the account forever.
Run it in parallel with your old stack for two weeks and compare cost per personalized account. Ours dropped by an order of magnitude.
Why it works
Reply rates are falling because everyone sends the same AI-written email. The messages that still land are grounded in something true and recent about the buyer. Agents make that depth affordable for the whole list instead of your top 50 accounts.
I published the full comparison of the two AI platforms we tested for this workflow, including where each one loses: gc.growthcab.com/perplexity-vs-claude
See you tomorrow with the next play.
