THE REVENUE AI BRIEF · ONE PLAY A DAY

Welcome to The Revenue AI Brief. One play a day on AI applied to revenue, in about three hundred words. Two minutes to read, one thing to run today.

TODAY'S PLAY

split your GTM stack into data, logic and model layers so a model swap is never a rebuild

Most teams treat the model as the foundation. They pick one model and every prompt, workflow and integration quietly assumes it stays the best option forever. The day a better model arrives, or the one they chose gets worse, the whole stack is exposed.

We keep data (accounts, signals, CRM) and logic (scoring rules, briefs, plays) in layers we own, written as plain documents, and treat the model as a swappable engine underneath. When we tested a different model last month, moving one job across took under an hour.

RUN IT THIS WEEK

  1. Own your data layer. List every account, signal and CRM field somewhere you control, never only inside a vendor's tool.

  2. Write your logic in plain prose. Turn each scoring rule and email brief into a document any model could read and run.

  3. Test a model swap once. Move one live job to a different model this month and time how long it actually takes.

WHY IT WORKS

The real cost of hardwiring a model is not the license fee. It is the rebuild you pay for in lost weeks the day it changes. Keep data and logic portable so a new model becomes a setting you flip in an afternoon.

See you tomorrow with the next play.
